Mothers Day

Well another Mothers Day has come and gone. But I think I learned today what a reward being a Mother can and will be. We attended a welcome home for a cousin, and as I listened to his talk and the love that he expressed for his mother it was incredible. To have a child love you that much at an age where having a mother is diffrent than when you were four or five is so heartwarming. I know that my children love me now, but it is wonderful to see what the future can hold for me. I can only imagine the love that our Father in Heaven feels for us and it is incredible. As I watched the children sing later in the Sacrament meeting, the spirit was strong and a could feel the spirit so strongly, testifying about these things.
So I have realized that Mothers Day is more than just the flowers or the gifts (but thank you honey they are beautiful), it is about the love and care that we give to our family. It is when we can see that our children have a piece of us reflected in them.
