We decided to spend this 4th if July weekend with the Womack's. Mom and Dad spend almost every 4th of July in Bear Lake. We were so excited for sun and sand, but when we got there we figured out that things were not going to be as easy to enjoy as we had hoped. The water was high enough that the beach had dissapeared and there was only spots of sands in between high grass.
But we still decided to try some water fun. As we got down to the beach the first morning we realized that it was cold! There was a strong enough breeze that it was too choppy to do anything on the water in the boat. So I felt like I was at the Oregon coast. AAAAAHHHHH.
So we were not able be able to enjoy the beach and it was hard to be in a trailer with three kids and 5 adults, but we made it through. We were grateful to be with family that is patient and understanding of 2yr.old behavior. Abby also decided to be a sand eater. No matter how many times we tried to clean out her mouth it went rigth back in.
But I snapped a few pictures of kidscicles at the beach so I thought I would share.
