Growing Up

This year will bring and has brought alot of changes for me. Changes that will probably or have made me grow up just a little more.

One of the things that has been most prominant in my mind is my parents. My father has accepted a fabulous and wonderful position with the Government, something that he has been wanting to do for a while. The only problem is that this position is in Washington, D.C. I am so excited for him and am so proud that he has always continued to better himself, through education and work. He is always reaching higher. Which is something I can always instill in my children.
But back to the issues at hand, D.C? Well I guess it will be so fun to visit alot to see and do. The only problem I have is all the miles in between. My parents have become such a huge part of my life these last few years, and a huge part of my childrens lives. I like just knowing they are there.

Heavenly Father knows why things need to happen when they do, and why they do. I know that I just need to trust that this is part of my growing up, and part of my little family coming togethor and depending on each other more than we have been.

I just keep telling my kids that it is so cool that they have people that love them all over the USA. From Tooele to Oregon, to D.C. and New York. How lucky are they?

Thank goodness for SKYPE and frequent flyer miles right?
